AfrIDE Awards is scheduled for May 23, 2026 and will be a purely online spectacle, breaking physical barriers to unite gamers, developers, and creators from every corner of Africa and the world.

In the digital age, our community lives online. By hosting the event natively in the digital realm, we ensure zero geographical limitations, real-time interactive audience participation, and an eSports-grade production that transcends traditional ceremonies.

Any game development studio, esports operator, team, athlete, business, or organisation operating within Africa or making a demonstrable contribution to the African interactive and digital entertainment industry is eligible for nomination.

Nominations are open to the public. Anyone can nominate — including self-nominations from eligible individuals and organisations.
